The class winners from the South and North will compete head-to-head at the IL State Championship at Northbrook Sports Club on Saturday night, June 13. This is an event not to be missed. Support your favorites, tease your rivals, and enjoy meeting new people. It's always a great time, coinciding with the ISCA membership board meeting and dinner on June 13. Each class winner, from E through HOA, along with each concurrent, will shoot 3 sets of targets. Zone shoot-off competitors are first selected from each zone shoot, and then a North and South board representative may choose alternates to fill any vacancies in the competition. Scores from each North and South competitor are tallied to determine whether the Southern or Northern parts of Illinois excel in sporting clays target shooting. The victorious side takes home the traveling trophy, and the names of the winning team will be engraved on this prestigious trophy.

The North Zone is the area North of Interstate Hwy. 74 from the East to Galesburg in the west and then Hwy 34 west to the State line, the South Zone represents the area south of that same line. Anyone can participate in the Zone events. The resident winners of these zones however are automatically entered into the Zone shoot off held at the State Championship.
