The South Zone is held at FLC Shooting Grounds in Whitehall IL on May 16-18, 2025. The South Zone will feature a 100 Target Main, additional 100 target Sporting Clays event, 50 Target FITASC, 50 Target Sub Gauge in both 20 & 28 gauge, 50 Target 12 Gauge and a

50 Target Super Sporting event. FLC Shooting Grounds has hosted 2 IL State Championships, the Coon Pecker Open, Helice tournaments and the Intergalactic Sporting Clays Championship. The club is located at 870 North East 325 Ave in White Hall, IL. 62092.

IL North and South Zone Sponsorship

  • The ISCA will pay for up to 15 Junior, 15 Sub Junior and up to 15 Lady concurrent entries in the IL North and South Zone Championship Main Events.

  • This is first come first served, don't wait.

  • How to: when available, register online for the event. The sponsorship difference will be refunded by the host club at the event.

IL State Championship Sponsorship

  • 6 entries from both the North and South Zone will be randomly drawn for FREE entry into the IL State Championship held this July 10-13.

  • The ISCA will pay for up to 20 Junior, 20 Sub Junior and up to 20 Lady concurrent entries in the IL Sporting Clays Championship Main Event.

  • Discounted Sub Junior, Junior and Lady entries are eligible for self-paid options, they are not eligible for any purses or prizes embedded in the event. They can be eligible for purses or prizes embedded in the event if they pay the full entry.

  • The ISCA will pay $100 of the reduced entry for Sub Junior, Junior and Lady concurrent entry fees for the IL State Championship Main Event. The host club will cover the balance. These entries are not eligible for any purses or prizes embedded in the event. They can be eligible for purses or prices embedded in the event if they pay the full entry.

  • How to: when available, register online for the event. The sponsorship difference will be refunded by the host club at the event.


The class winners on the South and North will shoot off head to head at the IL State Championship held at Northbrook Sports Club on Saturday night July 12. This is a don't miss event. Cheer for your favorites, heckle your foes and enjoy meeting new friends. Always a good time held along with ISCA membership board meeting and dinner on July 12. 3 sets of targets will are shot by each class winner starting from E through HOA along with each concurrent. The zone shoot off competitors are selected from each zone shoot first, then a North and South board representative may seek alternates to fill any vacancies to round out the competition. The scores are totaled for each North and South competitor to determine if the Southern or Northern ends of Illinois are the best at sporting clays target shooting. The winning side takes home the travelling trophy and the winning team's names will be engraved on this epic trophy.


The North Zone is the area North of Interstate Hwy. 74 from the East to Galesburg in the west and then Hwy 34 west to the State line, the South Zone represents the area south of that same line. Anyone can participate in the Zone events. The resident winners of these zones however are automatically entered into the Zone shoot off held at the State Championship.
