Sporting clays shooters have an opportunity to enjoy a great day on the course while supporting an important cause at the fourth annual Shoot for the Heart Charity Sporting Clay Event on Friday, October 2, 2026.
Held at Rock Ridge Sportsmen’s Club in Davis Junction, Illinois, the event raises funds for Hard Hats with Heart and the American Heart Association. This year, organizers have set ambitious goals: 150 shooters and $50,000 raised to support the fight against heart disease.
A Full Day of Sporting Clays and Giving Back
Shooters can choose between an 8:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. flight, with teams consisting of four shooters.
Registration includes sporting clays, ammunition, a shared golf cart, and lunch. Shooters will need to provide their own firearm, as gun rentals are not available.
The morning and afternoon groups will come together for a shared lunch, along with raffles, prizes, and additional fundraising activities. The event also provides a great opportunity to meet people from throughout the construction and related industries, with key contractors, distributors, manufacturers, and community supporters expected to participate.
Shooters, Sponsors and Donors Needed
There are several ways to support this year's event. Organizers are looking for individual shooters and four-person teams, event sponsors, financial donors, and donated items for raffles and prizes.
Even if you can't shoot on October 2, sponsorships, donations and raffle contributions are another way to help the event reach its $50,000 fundraising goal.
The ISCA encourages Illinois shooters, clubs, businesses, and sporting clays supporters to share the event with their shooting and community contacts.
