Pheasants Forever event at Downers Grove Sportsmen’s Club September 13, 2025

The Tallgrass PF/QF Chapter will be hosting a day of Sporting Clays on September 13, 2025 out at Downers Grove Sportsmen’s Club. This event will be a round of 100 Sporting Clays followed by a BBQ. With each entry you will also be entered in a raffle. Don’t want to shoot, join us for the BBQ. There will be chances to win prizes no matter what your skill level.
Please join us in supporting us so we can continue with our chapter’s mission of perpetuating our hunting and shooting heritage by teaching new shooters and hunters. All shooters must provide their own ammo and guns. Ammo is available to purchase at the Club if needed.

Downers Grove Sportsmen’s Club is located at 4700 Old Stage Rd, Morris, IL 60450

8:30am Registration begins, Coffee and Doughnuts
9:15am Safety Speech
9:30am Shooting Begins
12:00pm Lunch
12:45pm Raffles Drawn
We will have the following prizes:

Banquet tickets
Alcohol basket
We will run the following games at stations:
Split the Pot Station – $20 for an arm’s length, winner gets half the pot
Hit/Miss Station – $10 for you “You call the shot” and will get tickets for your call of either your hits or your misses. You will get 1 ticket for each hit or miss. Or, for $20 we will give you 10 tickets for all your shots.
Run The Station – $10, winner takes all. If there is a tie, it will go to the shooter who can run the station with the least amount of shells.
Mulligan Station – For $10, you will get to shoot a pair of targets over. We will provide the shells.
