Nilo Farms is organizing the AA Showdown sporting clays tournament from Friday to Sunday, September 18-20, 2026. The event includes two 100-target sporting clays competitions on the Orange and Red courses, along with a 50-target super sporting event. Nilo Farms is located at 15025 Hwy 111, Brighton, IL 62012.
Participants have the option to register for a single day or attend all three days. The Nilo Farms Dog Days and Dead Birds is a National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Registered Shoot, and registration as a shooter is not necessary to participate.

Note: as an Olin owned facility, it is a requirement to shoot only Winchester AA shells. The shoot entry fee will include 100 AA shells for each 100 target event.
NILO invites clays shooters from novice to experienced to try a variety of target games and competitions.
Along with the traditional trap and skeet, NILO also offers sporting clays, 5-stand, a 40-foot tower, riverside skeet and the infamous crazy quail. Crazy quail is a creation of NILO in which shooters standing 22 yards away are presented with birds launched in random, unexpected directions. Anyone breaking 10 out of 10 in this event earns his or her name inscribed on an exclusive roster at the clubhouse. For more realistic practice, the sporting clays course lets you envision doves, teal, woodies, pheasants and even rabbits. Winchester ammunition is always provided and shotguns are available for use. For those wanting to “step up” their game, NILO also offers shooting lessons on a per-hour basis.
