Sporting clays enthusiasts and supporters of America's military families are invited to participate in Clays for Courage, a premier fundraising event hosted by Folds of Honor Chicago. Scheduled for Thursday, July 30, 2026, the event combines an afternoon of sporting clays with a powerful mission—raising educational scholarship funds for the spouses and children of America's fallen and disabled service members and first responders.
Held at the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation in Dundee Township, Illinois, Clays for Courage is more than just a day on the range. It is an opportunity for participants to honor the sacrifices made by our nation's heroes while helping provide life-changing educational opportunities for the families they leave behind.
Built around the theme "Bring Your Wingman. Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate Their Legacy.", the event encourages friends, coworkers, clients, and fellow shooters to form teams and enjoy a memorable day supporting a meaningful cause. The sporting clays competition begins at 1:00 p.m. and concludes with food, beverages, event swag, and a reception celebrating the day's participants and supporters.
Squad registration is available for five-person teams at $1,500 per squad, with registration including a 100-target sporting clays course, ammunition, food and beverages, and exclusive event merchandise. Businesses and community organizations are also encouraged to participate as sponsors, demonstrating their commitment to supporting military families while enjoying a first-class networking and sporting event.
Every dollar raised through Clays for Courage helps fund educational scholarships that open doors for deserving families.
